the Chief of Naval Operations, 10-10-95. UPDATE: The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Group, located in the Persian Gulf
for 9 months as of April, 2003, for the war in Iraq, was ordered home on April 9, 2003. It arrived back in its
Homeport in Everett, Washington on May 6, 2003.
The Lincoln's planes flew over 1600 missions in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
